National Gamekeepers’ Organisation Clay Pigeon Competition

The NGO Golden Grouse Clay Pigeon competition 2026 is back at Thimbleby Shooting Ground on the 8th June.

This year brings something special - a Davis & Bowring Estate Agents sponsored Team Flush to test your skill and spark a little friendly rivalry.

The winning team get to keep the beautiful trophy in the picture for 12 months, and the individual guns get glassware to keep.

For catering etc booking is essential for the individual competition, the team flush is payable on the day.

Entry: £55 (includes burger and drink).

Golden Grouse: 100‑bird sporting layout, fibre wad, max 28g cartridges.

Plus: 100‑bird inter‑estate four‑man flush (Davis & Bowring), £100 for a team of 4 (£25 per gun, payable on the day).

Pool shoot with cash prizes.

Registration on the day from 9.30am with the last entry being 12.30pm.
