The Royal Lancashire Agricultural Show
Royal Lancashire Agricultural Show 2026
The show is being held on Friday 3rd, Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July 2026
Planning is already underway – and we have lots up our sleeve to make the show the best yet.
The Royal Lancashire Show returns to Salesbury Hall, Ribchester from Friday 3 to Sunday 5 July 2026, with gates open 9.30am to 5.30pm each day. Run by the Royal Lancashire Agricultural Society, a registered charity dedicated to the improvement of agriculture and the education of the public about farming and rural life, the show is one of the oldest in the country and a fixture of the northern summer calendar.
Across three days the showground hosts the full breadth of Lancashire farming, from livestock classes in sheep, cattle, goats and horses, to showjumping and main ring entertainment, equestrian displays, parades and demonstrations. Trade stands, food and craft avenues, countryside clothing, and family activities run the length of the site, with local producers showing artisan cheeses, bakes, and rural crafts alongside the agricultural exhibitors that have made the show what it is.
For us it's one of the most important upland and rural shows in the north west, a chance to meet the farmers, graziers and countryside professionals who shape the Lancashire landscape, and to celebrate the farming heritage that sits behind every plate of food produced in the county.
Tickets and membership are available through the Royal Lancashire Show website. Membership must be taken out before 1 May 2026 to access full member benefits.
